Reflections on DH @ Guelph

The Department of History funded three graduate students to attend the MicaTwettDigital Humanities Summer Workshop held at the University of Guelph May 9 – 12.  Ph.D. Candidate Mica Jorgenson registered in “Spacial Humanities” and her two colleagues registered in “You’ve Got Data” (an intro course to various ways of wrangling humanities data) and “Getting Started with Omeka’ (a course that gets you started with the web-platform Omeka).  All three came away from the conference with “an enormously useful new toolset” for their scholarship.

Ph.D. Candidate Mica Jorgenson reflects on her experience.
